The Beautiful Social Research Collaborative (commonly referred to as B:Social) is an organization based at Saint Joseph’s University that works with nonprofit and community organizations making positive social change in the Philadelphia area and beyond. Comprised of students and faculty in the Department of Communications, B:Social works with clients in order to develop content that complements their digital communication and storytelling goals. There is no other organization that functions in the way Beautiful Social does in the country.
I am a former Foley Fellow for the program, where I functioned in ways similar to a teaching assistant: I acted as the liaison between the client and the student team in order to help the team succeed in their projects.
Fall 2018: Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation

After a thorough analysis the group was able to improve upon the current email methods used to communicate with event hosts of all ages. This work was presented to the ALSF leaders for use in their 2019 plan.
Fall 2018: Legacy Youth Tennis and Education
My team created a background and social media analysis before diving into platform specific recommendations for the organization. After a team lead brainstorming session, specific hashtags and content conceptions were presented to the marketing team for their choosing.
