This semester I took the course Travel Writing where I wrote three pieces, each focused on a different aspect our professor Tommy emphasized:
1. Give me flesh and blood (characters)
2. Give me the feeling I am there (scenes/descriptions)
3. Make me care (journalistic relevance)
Here are the final papers, all of which document times during my semester abroad, a few creative spins thrown in there for a more interesting read 🙂
